Before getting into the information technology industry in '99 as a volunteer for my highschool, I had always been very much into art and technology. Very interested in animation and traditional art, I would draw, color and paint constantly, starting from an early age. As the computer age took off I became more interested in combining the two and drawing renditions of cartoon characters in MS Paint. The computer game industry was a big inspiration as well, not only because of the art within the games, but also with the great time put into the layouts for the games websites. Once I started getting into the technology field, I never stopped and continued to build on both the art and technology aspects I had learned for my future.

I started my professional career as a volunteer computer tech for the last two years of High School. I was involved in everything from maintaining the various computer labs to updating the school web site and consulting on future computer and graphics software. After High School I worked at various computer companies doing technical support, troubleshooting, and designing or updating internal web sites. I also would help people with various tasks on the side like graphics, logos, web sites, flyers and even some photography.

Currently I work full time for Sharp Innovations, a web design and marketing company catering to the Lancaster, PA and surrounding areas. I handle about 99% of all static web site updates. This involves creating new pages, editing and updating any images, creating new art, editing flash files, updating CSS style sheets and more. Overflow of projects from the designers also falls over to me like larger flash updates or web site conversions and rebuilds. My largest project to date with Sharp was an entire flash site rebuild for Lebus Manayunk. The site was originally built by another company, and was 100% flash. I had to convert the entire site to html and css, the project took about 25 hours.

I have a passion for art, technology and web design and truly enjoy what I do. My full time work schedule is from 10-6 mon-fri. This means that a lot of my independant work is done outside of those hours. I'm used to receiving a lot of my work through email so getting a web site done with just phone and email contact is not difficult for me.
